Havoc announces holiday promotions

HUNTSVILLE, AL – The Huntsville Havoc are happy to announce two opportunities for fans to give back to the community and enjoy hockey at the same time.

On Friday, December 3 the Havoc will be holding a Toy Toss along the University of Alabama-Huntsville. Bring a toy and receive free admission into the doubleheader. The Chargers will open the evening against Niagara at 6:05. After the first UAH goal of the night, throw the toy on the ice. The Havoc will play at 8:30 against Asheville. Bring a second toy and throw it after the first Havoc goal. Toys from both games will be gathered and donated to WHNT's Day of Caring.

On Saturday, December 18, the Havoc will be holding a food drive for the Harris Home for Children. Bring a non-perishable food item and receive a free ticket to the December 23rd game against the Columbus Cottonmouths.

The Harris Home for Children, Incorporated is a private, non-profit, agency licensed by the Alabama Department of Human Resources as a foster care institution and child placement agency. Harris Home for Children is a multi-service agency that seeks to improve the quality of life for children between the ages of 5 and 18 who have experienced conditions of homelessness, abuse, and neglect.

Also on Saturday, December 18th, the Havoc will be holding Church Night. Church groups of 10 or more can purchase a general admission ticket for $5.00 or reserve ticket for $10.00. Local band, Blind Bart, will be providing a free concert in the East Hall immediately after the game. Contact Drew Carter at (256) 518-6163 for more information.
