Raptors 905 (15-15), the NBA G League affiliate of the Toronto Raptors, returned to the win column with a 111-104 victory against the College Park Skyhawks (15-15), keeping their playoff hopes alive. The 905 were led by Ron Harper Jr. who secured his first career triple-double, putting up career highs in points, 30, rebounds, 10, and assists, 11. Langston Galloway led the Skyhawks with a season-high 31 points, six rebounds, and one steal in the loss.
The Skyhawks took control of the game from tip-off, taking an early 16-11 lead before a 9-2 run allowed the 905 to regain their lead. The two teams continued to trade baskets in the opening quarter before the home side took a two-point lead going into the second. The 905 continued to build off their momentum in the second, outscoring the visitors 32-27 and extending their lead to seven as the half came to a close.
Coming out ofhalftime, thetwo teams played a closely contested third quarter, but the 905 held onto the lead as they entered the final frame up nine. College Park mounted their comeback bid in the fourth quarter but were unable to cut into the deficit, losing their first game to the 905 this season.
The 905 were paced by Kylor Kelley who contributed 14 points, nine rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in the victory. The Knicks saw complementary scoring from Tyrese Martin who added 15 points, 15 rebounds, and three assists in the loss.
The 905 close out the regular season in Greensboro, taking on the Swarm in back-to-back games beginning Friday at 7:00 pm. The Skyhawks continue their road trip in the Windy City as they face the Bulls Thursday, tip-off scheduled for 8:00 pm.
