
Legends Acquire E.J. Anosike

FRISCO, TX - The Texas Legends announced today that they acquired forward E.J. Anosike from the available player pool.
Anosike (6-7, 236, Cal State Fullerton) joined the Salt Lake City Stars for six games earlier this season averaging 4.2 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in 12.1 minutes per game. Prior to joining the Stars, Anosike played for the Suwon KT Sonicboom in South Korea averaging 13.7 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 1.4 assists across 22 games.
The Staten Island native played for Sacred Heart, University of Tennessee, and Cal State Fullerton across five collegiate seasons. In 149 career games (97 starts), he averaged 11.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.1 assists and earned NEC Most Improved Player (2019), All-NEC 1st Team (2020), Big West Player of the Week (2021, 2022), All-Big West 1st Team (2022), Big West Tournament MVP (2022), and Big West Newcomer of the Year (2022).
