Hamilton Summons Goaltender Cedrick Desjardins

HAMILTON, ON - Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today that the Club has recalled netminder Cedrick Desjardins from the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL. Desjardins will join the team in Hamilton tomorrow morning.

Desjardins, 22, currently leads the ECHL in goals against average (1.92) and shutouts (5) and is tied for the overall lead in save percentage (.934). The 6-foot, 183-pound goaltender has won seven-straight games and has a record of 16-5-1 in 22 contests with the Cyclones this season.

The native of Edmunston, New Brunswick, was recalled by Hamilton on December 3rd, 2007 and appeared in two games, posting a 0-1-0 record with a 5.96 goals-against average and a .841 save percentage before returning to Cincinnati on December 17th, 2007.

Desjardins signed as a Free Agent with the Bulldogs on July 26th, 2006.
