The Hamilton Bulldogs (American Hockey League affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens) will play three games this week. The 'Dogs will first host the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL Affiliate of the Nashville Predators) on Thursday December 4th. The Bulldogs will then travel to Grand Rapids to face the Griffins (AHL Affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings) at Van Andel Arena on December 6th before returning to Copps Coliseum on December 7th for a match-up with North Division archrival the Toronto Marlies (AHL Affiliate of the Toronto Maple Leafs).

Last week, Hamilton went 1-2-0-0 and now has a record of 14-7-1-0. On Tuesday November 25th the 'Dogs earned their third road win in a row with a 5-3 victory over the San Antonio Rampage at AT&T Center. At the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena on Saturday, November 29th the Bulldogs were defeated 3-2 by the Binghamton Senators. Both the B-Sens and 'Dogs travelled to Montreal, Quebec for their second match-up of their home-and-home away from home series. Binghamton swept Hamilton in the weekend series, defeating the Bulldogs 5-3 at Bell Centre on Sunday, November 30th.

STUFFED TOY TOSS NIGHT:

The Hamilton Bulldogs will be hosting their annual "Stuffed Toy Toss Night" at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 7th, 2008 when the club hosts the Toronto Marlies at Copps Coliseum. Fans attending the game are asked to bring a stuffed toy to throw onto the ice when the Bulldogs score their first goal. Also, Bulldogs Season Ticket Holders can trade in any of their unused tickets to date to receive an additional ticket to the game.

SKATE WITH THE BULLDOGS:

The Bulldogs Foundation will host "Skate with the Bulldogs" on Sunday December 7. For a minimum of $125 in pledges, participants receive a complimentary ticket to the home game against the Toronto Marlies, a replica Bulldogs Jersey, a skating session with Bulldogs players, and access to the Bulldogs fun zone.

Funds raised will provide developmental programs along with equipment and fees to minor hockey league players who cannot otherwise afford to play the game. Proceeds will also go to the local CNIB in Hamilton, so they can provide vital services and programs for people with vision loss.

HAMILTON BULLDOGS SALVATION ARMY FOOD DRIVE Fans who bring a non-perishable food item to home games will receive a voucher valid for $6.00 off Adult Tickets purchased for the holiday games*. The Food Drive will run until Thursday December 11.

Volunteers of the Salvation Army will have collection boxes in the main entrance of Copps Coliseum. The Hamilton Bulldogs Organization has been involved in community food drives for a number of years and are excited about the prospect of lending a hand to the community once again. Please help stock food bank shelves in time for the holiday season.

BULLDOGS NOTES:

- The Bulldogs had the second highest attendance in franchise history on Sunday at the Bell Centre with a crowd of 14,446 at the game. The crowd was second only to the 15,119 fans who came to the 'Dogs game on March, 26 2004 against the St. John's Maple Leafs. - RW Matt D'Agostini was recalled to the Montreal Canadiens on November 27th for the first time this season. He played in his first game for the Habs this season and only the second NHL game of his career in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Buffalo Sabres. - C Mathieu Aubin recorded his first goal of the season in Saturday's 3-2 loss to Binghamton. Aubin also recorded an assist and was recognized as the game's Workhorse of the Game.

There are over 60 former Bulldogs who have graduated to the National Hockey League. Over 60 percent of all former 'Dogs have played in at least one NHL game. Here are a few highlights and accomplishments of ex-'Dogs from this past week:

- Columbus LW Raffi Torres picked up two points this week, with an assist in a 5-3 loss to Detroit (Nov. 28) and the game-winning goal against Washington in a 3-0 win (Nov. 29) - Montreal LW Andrei Kostitsyn recorded a goal and an assist in a 3-2 victory over Buffalo (Nov. 29) - Boston RW Michael Ryder tallied four points this week with two goals in a 7-2 win over Toronto (Nov. 28) and two assists in a 4-1 win against Detroit (Nov. 29) - Montreal C Maxim Lapierre picked up a goal and two assists this past week. He earned a goal on Nov. 24 in a 4-3 shootout loss to the Islanders and his second goal came in a 3-1 win over Detroit on Nov. 26. His assist was on Nov. 29 in a 3-2 win over Buffalo. - Montreal G Carey Price recorded two wins this week one coming in a 3-1 win over Detroit making 32 saves on 33 shots (Nov. 26). He earned a 3-2 win over Buffalo making 26 shots on 28 saves (Nov. 29)

Fans can listen to every 'Dogs game this season on the flagship station of the Hamilton Bulldogs Hockey Network, 'TALK 820'. All regular-season radio and online broadcasts will begin with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to each scheduled game-time. Ellery Award-winning broadcaster Derek Wills calls the play-by-play of all 80 regular season games, while Al Craig provides the colour commentary for all home games and select road games.

In addition Cable 14 will air live broadcasts 12 of club's 39 home games at Copps Coliseum. In a joint venture with Mohawk College, Cable 14 will also broadcast the 27 Hamilton Bulldogs' home games not being shown live in their entirety as 'Dogs-in-an-Hour at 11:00 p.m. on the night of the game.

Cable 14 will also carry Rogers Television's live coverage of five Hamilton Bulldogs versus Toronto Marlies games at Ricoh Coliseum.

BULLDOUGS FOUNDATION: The Agree to Read program continued at Delta Public School on Tuesday, November 4th and Cathy Weaver School on Thursday, November 6th where forward Max Pacioretty and defenceman Yannick Weber visited with students to promote the program.

On Wednesday, November 5th, forwards Brock Trotter and Ryan White were on-hand to unveil the new team bus, which now features pictures of Bulldogs graduates on each side, and launch the Ambassador program at C.B. Stirling School.

Mathieu Aubin was named as the Community Player of the Month for October. Mathieu willingly dedicated his time to visit schools and sign autographs on behalf of the Bulldogs Foundation during October. The award is presented by Mountaineer Movers, agent for North American Van Lines and goes to the player who demonstrates professionalism as well as generosity towards fans throughout the community during that month.

The Bulldogs Foundation will be offering a "players favourite things" basket that will be available at the Bulldogs game on December 7th. The baskets will be comprised of the players favourite items that they have hand picked themselves. The wives and girlfriends of the players will auction of the baskets at the game. All money raised will be used to provide Christmas presents for families in need.
