
Hamilton Assigns Maxime Lacroix To Cincinnati

HAMILTON, ON - Hamilton Bulldogs General Manager Julien BriseBois announced today that the club has assigned forward Maxime Lacroix to the Cincinnati Cyclones of the ECHL. The team also announced that forward Mathieu Curadeau has been released from his Professional Tryout (P.T.O.) contract.
Lacroix, 22, played in 16 games with the Bulldogs this season earning one assist and two penalty minutes. In 2008-2009, the 6-foot, 190-pound left winger earned 64 points (33 goals, 31 assists) in 63 regular season games with the South Carolina Stingrays of the ECHL where he won the Kelly Cup Championship with the club. The native of Quebec City, Quebec was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the 5th round, 127th overall in the 2006 NHL Entry Draft.
Curadeau, 24, competed in three games with the 'Dogs this year earning one assist. Before joining Hamilton, the native of Montreal, Quebec played in three games with the Worcester Sharks scoring one goal and adding two penalty minutes. In 11 games with the ECHL's Kalamazoo Wings in 2009-2010, the 6-foot-1, 185-pound has registered 13 points (nine goals, four assists) and 22 penalty minutes.
The Bulldogs host the Abbotsford Heat on Wednesday, December 9th at 7:30 p.m. at Copps Coliseum.
