Halmo Named Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week

The Owen Sound Attack is pleased to announce that Captain Michael Halmo has been named the teams Becker Shoes Attacker of the Week for the week ending Sunday, February 5th.

Halmo put together a fine weekend beginning on Friday night at home against the Windsor Spitfires. The overage forward notched his 32nd goal of the season and added three assists in a 6-5 overtime loss and was named the games first star. On Saturday, the Waterloo native tallied his 33rd goal of the season and added as assist on Daniel Catenacci's short handed game winning goal and was once again named the games first star.

Halmo now sits 5th amongst OHL scorers with 66 points and 3rd amongst Goal Leaders with 33, 5 back of leader Tyler Toffoli.

Honourable mention goes to Daniel Catennaci who tallied two goals and three assists.

The Attack is back in action this week on the road when they travel to Erie on Wednesday and Brampton on Thursday. Both games can be heard live on Grey Motors Bear Radio 560 CFOS with Fred Wallace. The Attack returns home this Saturday for their first annual Pink in the Rink Night against the Peterborough Petes.
