
Halischuk's hat trick leads Rangers to win

Kitchener, ON: Matt Halischuk scored three times and added an assist leading the Rangers to a 4-3 win over the visiting Windsor Spitfires this afternoon.
Halischuk opened the scoring in the first period with his 31st goal of the season at 4:08.
In the second Halischuk increased the Rangers lead to 2-0 with his 32nd goal at 5:31 while shorthanded. Mark Cundari replied for the Spitfires with his 6th goal on the year to cut the Rangers lead to 2-1. Kevin Henderson added his 30th goal of the year at 16:03 to restore the Rangers two goal advantage after forty minutes.
Halischuk added his third of the game and 33rd on the season at 6:00 to put the Rangers up 4-1. Bradley Snetsinger scored a pair of goals in the period for the Spitfires, his second coming with just one second to play to round out the scoring.
With the win John Murray improved to 39-9-1-2 on the season.
The Rangers next home game is Friday, March 16th against the Owen Sound Attack. Game time is scheduled for
7:30 p.m.
