Gulls make two front office moves

SAN DIEGO â The San Diego Gulls have announced that Mick Ysursa has been promoted to the director of ticket sales and Edwin Gregory has been hired as the new account executive.
Ysursa, 26, is entering his third season on the Gulls' ticketing staff. As the Gulls' director of ticket Sales, his responsibilities include ticket sales strategies, client service management and ticket operations. Ysursa spent the previous two years as an account executive. Prior to joining the Gulls, the native of Boise, Idaho graduated from the University of Portland, where he earned a management and marketing degree. He also gained valuable experience assisting his uncle in a successful campaign for Idaho's secretary of state.
"In his tenure with the Gulls, Mick has continually proven his management capabilities," Chief Operating Officer Tera Black said. "I am really excited to see what he will bring to the table in his new capacity. He has truly earned this promotion."
Gregory, 31, enters his first season with the Gulls after spending the previous two and half years in the Philadelphia Flyers' sales and marketing department. As an account executive, Gregory is responsible for working closely with the rest of the sales department, implementing and increasing the season ticket base and providing overall customer service to ticket holders.
"Edwin is another quality person in the sales department and will undoubtedly make a difference to an already successful sales team," Black said. "His experience in the NHL should add fuel to fire and make the department and organization as a whole even better."
