Storm notes... Friday night's home game versus the Belleville Bulls is The Home Depot Night. The first 1,000 fans will receive The Home Depot branded Thunderstix... Sunday afternoon's game is sponsored by Tim Hortons with loads of great prize giveaways throughout the game... Sunday's game is also the second of two Student Days at the Storm including a free post-game Skate With the Storm... As of Thursday at noon, ticket sales for Friday night's game are approximately 3,600 and Sunday afternoon is at approximately 3,800... The Storm will make a presentation to captain Ryan Callahan before Friday night's game to honour his record setting 221st regular season goal... Rookie winger Leigh Salters returned to the lineup on Wednesday versus Oshawa, but was limited to only one shift after suffering symptoms from the concussion that he suffered on January 21st... Matt Kennedy will join the Storm for the remainder of the 2005/06 season. The rookie winger will wear #15... After picking up only 54 penalty minutes combined during his first two seasons of junior, defenceman Ryan Parent currently has 104 PIM's to rank third on the Storm.

Bulls' notes... When these two teams met earlier in February, the Storm built a 3-1 lead late in the 2nd period, before surrendering 3 straight goals on their way to a 4-3 loss... The Bulls are coached by former Storm bench boss George Burnett... Belleville has dropped to 6th in the conference after holding the 3rd spot earlier in February... Including overtime & shootout losses, the Bulls have lost 20 of 29 road games this season... Belleville owns the 2nd best PK unit in the OHL at 85.4%. In their only other meeting of the season, the Storm PP was 0 for 4... The Bulls are among the league's least penalized team with an average of 20.6 PIM per game... Belleville is the only team in the OHL to surrender less than one powerplay goal per game (0.98). In comparison, Oshawa has allowed 2.14 powerplay goals per contest... Friday night's game will mark the last meeting of the regular season between the Storm and an Eastern Conference opponent... As good as Belleville's PK is, their PP is equally bad. At 14.8%, the Bulls' PP is 2nd worst in the OHL... All-Star netminder Kevin Lalande has the 10th best GAA in the OHL (3.10) and the 4th best SV% (0.915)... Centre John Hughes leads Belleville in goals (23), assists (42) and points (65)... 2nd year winger Matt Beleskey is 2nd on the club with 17 goals.

Attack notes... The Storm have won the past four meetings between the two Midwest Division rivals... In early January, Attack captain and blue-chip NHL prospect Bobby Ryan was 2nd in the OHL with 73 points in 33 games (2.21 PPG). Since returning from the World Junior Championship, the New Jersey native has 16 points in 17 games (0.94 PPG) and dropped to 8th in league scoring... Highly touted import forward Marek Bartanus picked up only 7 points in his first 38 OHL games. However, the Tampa Bay Lightning pick has turned it on of late, racking up 10 points in his past 6 games... Overage forwards Jeff Kyrzakos and Mike Angelidis have posted impressive totals this year with 72 and 70 points respectively... Angelidis leads the league with 31 powerplay markers... Defencemen Bob Sanguinetti and Andrej Sekera form the most potent blueline duo in the league with 106 points between them... Owen Sound first round pick in 2005 Joshua Bailey has 23 points in his rookie season... 18-year old defenceman Theo Peckham is 2nd in the OHL with 196 penalty minutes... Away from home, the Attack has won only 11 of 30 games... Owen Sound special teams have been middle of the pack in the league this season. With the man advantage, the Attack is 9th (20.3%), while their PK is ranked 12th at 81.6%... If the playoffs began today, this would be a first round match-up. The 4th place Storm currently hold 2 games in hand over 5th place Owen Sound and lead the Attack by 7 points.
