Gotta Win: The Tulsa Oilers play three games this weekend hosting the Texas Brahmas Tuesday at 7:05 p.m.; visiting the Odessa Jackalopes Friday at 7:05 p.m.; and hosting the Oklahoma City Blazers Saturday at 7:35 p.m. Saturday ngiht is Guaranteed Oilers win night. If the Oilers don't defeat Oklahoma City, every fan will receive a free ticket for the Oilers home game December 30^th against Bossier-Shreveport. All Oilers games are available at www.tulsaoilers.com.
$2 Tuesday: Not only will it be a Texas two step on Tuesday, there will also be several $2 concession specials at the game.
Hard Point: The Oilers picked up one point last week, losing to Wichita 7-3 Wednesday, then losing 4-3 in a shootout to Wichita and dropping a 6-4 game against Odessa.
Hats Off: Jeff Christian registered the team's first hat trick of the season with all three goals in the 4-3 shootout loss to Wichita and had eight points in the three games (5G, 3A). Christian has 12 points in the Oilers last four games, leads the team with 10 goals and is tied for the team lead in scoring with Michel Beausoleil with 25 points.
The Streak: Beausoleil has stretched his point streak to 14 games. He has seven goals and 18 assists in that stretch. It is the second longest point streak in the league (Jeff Bes of Laredo is currently on a 15 game point streak).
New Faces: The Oilers added left winger Brett McConnachie and center/left winger Sean Collins to their line up. Left winger Jake Riddle is on the 30 day injured reserve list and center Avery Wilson is on the 14 day injured reserve list.
