Christian Named CHL Player Of Week

Tulsa Oilers team captain Jeff Christian is the Oakley/Central Hockey League Player of the Week for the week of November 24-29.
Christian stretched his current point streak to six games with points in all three Oiler games. He figured in eight of the Oilers 10 goals on the week.
He had two assists Wednesday at Wichita, registered the team's first hat trick of the season (and the first hat trick ever at the BOK Center) in Friday's game against Wichita and capped the week with two goals and an assist Saturday night against Odessa.
Christian and the Oilers will be in action Tuesday night hosting the Texas Brahmas at 7:05 p.m. On Saturday they will host the Oklahoma City Blazers at 7:35 p.m. that will be the Oilers annual Teddy Bear toss to benefit the Salvation Army. Fans are asked to bring teddy bears to the game, and throw them on the ice after the first Oilers goal. The bears will be collected and donated to the Salvation Army for distribution.
Saturday is also guaranteed win night. If the Oilers don't beat Oklahoma City, each fan in attendance will receive a ticket voucher that can be redeemed for a free ticket for the Oilers home game against the Bossier-Shreveport Mudbugs on Tuesday December 30^th .
