1) November to Remember
2) They Call Them the Streak
3) All Jacked Up
1- The month of November has come and gone in a flash with all CHL teams playing between 10 and 13 games. Many questions were answered during the month we all give Thanksgiving but many questions still remain. What we do know is that Colorado and Oklahoma City are each the elite of their divisions following up great months of October with outstanding Novembers. The questions come from Rio Grande Valley who fell to 4-5-2 in the month after a 4-0 month of October. Bossier-Shreveport went 5-1 in October but were just 5-4-2 in November. The biggest move of the month came from Mississippi who caught the Mudbugs by going 9-4-0. The two lowest point totals in the month came from Wichita (3-8-1) and Rapid City (3-5-1).
_*Top Teams in November*_
Mississippi 9-4-0, 18 points
Oklahoma City 9-2-0, 18 points
Odessa 7-3-2, 16 points
2- Two players in the CHL are coming off months that saw them notch points in every game in the month of November putting each of them on extended point streaks, the two longest in the CHL this season. Laredo's Jeff Bes has recorded points in 15 straight games totaling 27 points over that stretch. Despite scoring just four goals (had last year), Bes leads the league with 31 points on the season. Tulsa's Michel Beausoleil is on a 14-game point streak scoring seven goals with 18 assists over that stretch. The Montreal native is a team-high +8 on the season.
3- The Odessa Jackalopes (11-5-2, 24 points) have won four straight games including winning their first home game of the season on Friday night in their seventh game. Odessa has done most of their damage on the road where they are 10-1-0 on the season winning seven straight. The Jacks have increased their lead in the Southwest Division to seven points with a showdown looming on Tuesday night with the second place Arizona Sundogs (8-10-1, 17 points). Face-off is scheduled for 7:05 PM (CST) and the game can be seen LIVE on the CHL Network.
