Grrrowl Secure Rights for Two Former Bombers

GREENVILLE, SC â The Greenville Grrrowl of the ECHL have announced the addition of FRED SLUKYNSKY (Center), and YANN JOSEPH (Center) to complete an earlier trade with the Dayton Bombers for goalie Jayme Platt. With the trade complete, Greenville retains the rights for both third year professionals for the upcoming 2003-04 ECHL season.
SLUKYNSKY (5-10, 180lb. Center) has played in three separate leagues, including two seasons in Dayton. Over the two seasons with the Bombers, SLUKYNSKY totaled 88 points and 158 penalty minutes in 147 games.
JOSEPH (5-8, 170lb., Center) will enter his third season of professional hockey after playing the 2001-02 campaign in the CHL, and last season in the ECHL with three different teams. The final 22 games on the 02-03 season were spent in Dayton. JOSEPH tallied 9 points and 12 penalty minutes during his time with the Bombers.
In other trade news, the Grrrowl received financial considerations to complete the Colin Pepperall trade with the Reading Royals from early in the 2002-03 season.
The Grrrowl have recently released the 2003-04 schedule, and will begin its sixth home slate on October 24th against the Charlotte Checkers at 7:05 PM.
