Grrrowl players, staff to play ball for charity

GREENVILLE, SC - Members of the Greenville Grrrowl front office and former players will trade in their hockey sticks for softball bats in the upcoming DAYS OF OUR LIVES CELEBRITY SOFTBALL GAME. Grrrowl President Ed Rubinstein, General Manager Ryan Stewart, VP of Sales Ethan Wade, and defenseman Daryl Pierce will represent the Grrrowl in the 19th edition of this game, scheduled to take place at Furman University on July 30th. Gates open at 10 a.m. and the price of admission is $10.

The Celebrity Softball Game will be sponsored by the Taylors Youth Association, with all proceeds benefiting the organization.

The Grrrowl players will team up with other local celebrities from Hot 98.1 (Fisher, Murph Dawg and Taylor Scott) and B93.7 (Hawk Harrison and Tom Steele). Rounding out the Local Celebrities team will be North Carolina actors David Ross and Ray Keziah.

The Local Celebrities will play stars from Days of our Lives, with Martha Madison, Eric Winter, Matthew Ashford, Bryan Dattilo, Austin Peck, Dan Wells, Farah Fath, Rhasaan Orange, Stephen Nichols and Arlene Sorkin all expected to make appearances.

Other events include a cast party, autograph session, cocktail party, dance, and karaoke party. All events (excluding the softball game) will take place at the Greenville Marriott. All events are sponsored by Taylors Youth Association. For ticket information, call 864-444-8317
