Grizzlies Take Final Game from Wranglers, Win 4-0

Las Vegas - After two wins this weekend against the Utah Grizzlies, the Las Vegas Wranglers fell 4-0 in the last of a three-game road series.

The Grizzlies took an early lead in the first period and maintained it for the rest of the game. Utah defenseman Nick Tuzzolino tallied the first goal just 1:49 into the game with assists from forward Matt Reber and center Mitch Fadden, and forward Paul McIlveen scored almost two minutes later with the same pair on the assists. With Las Vegas unable to answer back after seven shots on goal, the first period ended 2-0 in favor of the Grizzlies.

Fadden notched a goal of his own midway into the second period, bringing Utah up 3-0 with help from defenseman Cody Lampl and McIlveen. Grizzlies left wing Brett Ferguson secured the final goal of the night at 12:51 in the second, assisted by Reber and left wing Andrew Favot, to give Utah a 4-0 win on home ice.

Las Vegas takes on the Stockton Thunder in California this weekend before returning home to face the Idaho Steelheads on Friday, Dec. 2 and partake in the annual Teddy Bear Toss to benefit Sunrise Acres Elementary School. Tonight's full box score can be found here .
