
Grizzlies, Rascals suspended

For the second time in three days, the Grizzlies have been suspended due to rain.
Game two of the Sonic Crosstown Clash between the Gateway Grizzlies and the River City Rascals has been officially suspended due to a heavy rain storm that rolled through the area Monday evening. The game will be picked up where it left off Tuesday evening at 5:05 p.m. The third and final game of the series will follow. That game will be a seven-inning contest.
Before the storm hit, the Grizzlies were at the plate with one out in the bottom of the third. Mike Breyman was on second base after hitting a double off the left field wall with Phil Warren at the plate.
Fans holding tickets to Monday's game can trade those tickets for any future game this season baseed on availibility. Tickets must be exchanged in person at the GMC Stadium box office.
