This Situation
The Grizzlies with standings points in 14 of their last 17 games at 9-3-3-2 since February 15 go into the final five games of the regular season starting Friday in Idaho.
Weekend Recap
The Grizzlies drew 9,288 fans Saturday for Military Appreciation Night Presented by Mark Miller Subaru after welcoming 7,074 spectators Friday for Metro PCS Pack The House Friday. Utah is currently fifth in the 27-team ECHL in attendance averaging 5,463 fans through 34 games.
Saturday's Postgame Jersey Auction of our Military Appreciation Jerseys Saturday raised $18,650 for The Malinois Foundation, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Utah Veterans Alliance and Continue Mission.
Back Home
Utah returns home Friday, April 6 and Saturday, April 7 for Fan Appreciation Weekend, which is Free Seat Upgrade Weekend. A Party Plaza ticket will become a Corner Plaza seat, a Corner Plaza ticket will become a Center Plaza Seat and a Center Plaza Seat will become a Rinkside seat, based on availability when purchasing tickets at the Maverik Center Box Office or UtahGrizzlies.com. In addition, Saturday is Team Poster Giveaway and get it signed by the entire team after the game.
Newcomers All Contributing
Jake Marchment has seven goals and seven assists for 14 points in 17 games since being acquired from Colorado February 14. Defenseman Gage Ausmus has six assists and a plus-six. Mitch Maxwell has a goal in two-straight games and four goals and three assists in his last seven. Sam Babintsev has three goals and four assists for seven points in the last nine games.
Richart Absent
Taylor Richart, who leads ECHL Defenseman with 17 goals and had previously played in Utah's first 65 games of the season, sustained an injury Wednesday leaving Ryan Misiak as the only Grizzlies player who has appeared in every game this season. Utah's power-play also missed Richart, second among active players, with 13 power-play points. Richart's status remains day-to-day.
The Goalies
Brandon Wildung, fresh off completing his college career at Mercyhurst College, made his professional debut Wednesday and earned his first win Saturday as he stopped 16-straight shots and 17 of 19 overall to start his pro career 1-0-1-0. Joel Rumpel is 7-4-2-2 with Utah and 18-12-2-2 overall.
Penalty-Kill
Utah is 19 for their last 19 on the penalty-kill and hasn't allowed a power-play goal in five-straight games. The Grizzlies didn't allow a power-play goal in seven-straight games January 24-February 7.
Shots Allowed
Utah is allowing just 24.2 shots-per-game in their last five contests after tying a season-high by allowing Colorado just 19 shots in their 3-2 win Saturday.

Fans can get the latest on the Grizzlies every day on ESPN 700 as "Voice of the Grizzlies" Adrian Denny delivers the morning report at 11:25 a.m. with Grizzlies In 60 during "The Bill Riley Show" followed by the afternoon report at 3:25 p.m. with Grizzlies In 60 during "Gunther and Ben." Utah Grizzlies Radio is Fueled by the Rocky Mountain Propane Association.
Official Country Station
Z-104, Utah's #1 Country Station, returns as the Official Country Station of the Grizzlies with select games broadcast live on the legendary KSOP AM 1370/104.3 FM HD-2; featuring Utah's Classic Country. Denny joins Dave and Deb the Friday of every weekend home stand just after 9 a.m. on Z-104, followed by a visit with Country Joe on AM 1370/104.3 FM HD-2.
Television Coverage
KMYU has begun its sixth season of televising Grizzlies games this season with the next broadcast coming up Friday, April 6 as Denny joins Adam Mikulich from 2 News Talkin' Sports. Grizzlies television broadcasts are presented by Operation Lifesaver.
