QUACK TRACKS
Rapid Return
The Mallards play their next three games against the Rush. After visiting Rapid City for this weekend's games, the Mallards will return home to meet the Rush next Wednesday night, April 4. Friday's game will be the first this season between the Mallards and Rapid City.
Tripleheader
The Mallards took two out of three one-goal games from the Oilers in Tulsa last weekend.
Narrow Margin
The Mallards' last four wins have all been one-goal victories. The Mallards have gone 14-8-4 in one-goal games this season.
Muzzled
The Mallards have given up two goals or fewer in each of their last three games after surrendering at least three in each of their previous 22 outings. Prior to this weekend, the Mallards last held the opposition to a pair of goals on February 2 when they defeated the Kalamazoo Wings 6-2. The Mallards have scored three goals or fewer in each of their last 11 outings and have produced two goals or fewer in ten of those 11 contests.
Road Trip
The Mallards have gone 2-2-0 over the first four games of a six-game road trip.
Home Cooking
The Mallards have lost their last three home games. That skid is their longest home regulation losing streak this season.
Shooting Gallery
The Oilers took at least 40 shots in each of last weekend's three games. On aggregate, they outshot the Mallards 124-78 over those three tilts.
Tulsa
The Mallards finished their season series with the Oilers with a record of 4-2-0.
Busy
The Mallards yesterday completed their ninth and final stretch of three games in three days this season. The Mallards went 3-5-1 when playing for the third time in as many days.
Back-to-Back
The Mallards Friday and Saturday won back-to-back games for the first time since ripping off three straight victories between February 11 and February 16.
Double Down
The Mallards matched their longest road winning streak of the season with their victories Friday and Saturday.

The Mallards Saturday allowed fewer than two goals for the third time this season and for the first time in 49 games since they shut out the Mavericks 2-0 in Kansas City on November 26.
W
The Mallards Friday snapped a team record-setting eight-game regulation losing streak. Friday's victory was the Mallards' first since they defeated the Utah Grizzlies 7-6 in a shootout on March 2.
Regulation
Friday's win was the Mallards' first in regulation in 13 games since they edged the Toledo Walleye 4-3 on February 18.
Road to Victory
The Mallards Friday halted a team record-tying nine game road regulation losing streak. Friday's victory was the Mallards' first on the road since they defeated the Wings 4-3 in Kalamazoo on February 14. The Mallards first endured nine straight regulation setbacks on the road between December 8 and January 6.
Rebound
The Mallards won their first two games of the weekend after setting club single season records for regulation losses (40) and away regulation defeats (25) by dropping their previous game 8-0 last March 18 in Kansas City.
Debut
Tommy Muratore made his professional debut yesterday after signing an amateur tryout agreement with the Mallards Thursday.
Firsts
Casey Shea recorded his first career point by assisting on Chris Izmirlian's goal yesterday. Dmitry Osipov scored his first career goal Saturday.
Big Al
Alex Globke collected four points (one goal and three assists) in the Mallards' three games over the weekend.
Buzzer-Beater
By burying the game winner at 19:58 of the third period Saturday, Nagy scored the Mallards' latest regulation goal of the season.
Three Pairs
Friday's game saw Tardif score twice and Willie Raskob and Ryan McGrath notch two assists apiece.
Helping Hand
Raskob is tied for second among ECHL rookies and tied for sixth among defensemen in assists (32).
Between the Pipes
Motte turned aside 78 of 82 shots while going 1-1-0 last weekend. Eric Hartzell Saturday made 41 saves on the way to his first Mallard win in 14 games since joining the team in December. Saturday's victory was Hartzell's first in the ECHL since December 4, 2016 when he made 27 saves for Fort Wayne in the Komets' 4-2 home triumph over the Utah Grizzlies.
Red Light District
The Mallards rank twenty-seventh in the ECHL in goals scored per game (2.7) and goals allowed per game (4.2).
Outside the Box
The Mallards are the second least penalized team in the ECHL. They average 9.9 minutes in the box per game.
Special Teams
The Mallards have gone 0-for-13 on the power play over their last four games. The Mallards held the Oilers without a power play goal over the last two games (on seven Tulsa advantages) and went 12-for-13 for the weekend on the penalty kill. The Mallards rank twentieth in the ECHL on the power play (16.3 percent) and twenty-fifth in penalty killing (78.1 percent).
Head to Head
The Mallards went 3-0-0 against the Rush overall last season and 2-0-0 in Rapid City. All-time, the Mallards have gone 27-13-3 against the Rush overall and 12-8-2 at Rushmore Plaza Civic Center.
Ins and Outs
The Mallards Thursday signed defenseman Tommy Muratore to an amateur tryout agreement... Kyle Follmer (upper body injury) has missed the Mallards' last 12 games...Triston Grant was suspended for the Mallards' final 14 games (March 7-April 8) after being assessed a match penalty March 4 vs. Fort Wayne.

The box office is open weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days from 10:00 a.m. until the start of the second period.

Sunday March 25

Roman Ammirato broke a 1-1 tie 32 seconds into the third period and the host Tulsa Oilers went on to defeat the Mallards 2-1.
