Grizzlies Assign a Pair of Players to Idaho

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH - The Utah Grizzlies announced today that they have assigned center David Bararuk and re-assigned forward Brett Draney to the Idaho Steelheads, the Grizzlies primary ECHL affiliate.

Bararuk, 20, has played in 41 games with Utah this season scoring three goals with seven assists. The Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan native was originally a fifth round selection of the Dallas Stars in the 2002 NHL Entry Draft.

Draney, 22, has played in 29 games with the Grizzlies this season scoring a goal with one assist. In two games with the Steelheads, Draney has contributed a couple of goals. The Merritt, British Columbia native was originally a sixth round draft selection of the Dallas Stars in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.

The Grizzlies are back in action this weekend when they host the Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday and Saturday night. Face-off for both nights is scheduled for 7:05 PM.
