Maple Leafs Make Roster Moves

The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Wednesday that they have re-assigned defenceman Carlo Colaiacovo to the St. John's Maple Leafs of the American Hockey League.

Colaiacovo, 21, played two games for Toronto collecting one assist with two penalty minutes after his recall January 17. He registered his first point (assist) of the season January 21 at Washington. Colaiacovo has also played 36 games for St. John's this season collecting 20 points (four goals, 16 assists) with 24 penalty minutes.

The native of Toronto, Ontario has played four career NHL games for Toronto collecting two assists with two penalty minutes. He was Toronto's first choice, 17th overall in the 2001 Entry Draft.

The Maple Leafs face the Hamilton Bulldogs tonight at Mile One Stadium. The game will be broadcast LIVE on Radio NL (930AM) and www.sjmapleleafs.ca starting at 7:30pm (NT).
