Grizzlies Add 3 Players to Roster

West Valley City, Utah - The Utah Grizzlies have added Forwards Grayson Downing and Julien Nantel as well as Defenseman Sergei Boikov. They have all been assigned from the AHL's Colorado Eagles.

Nantel has appeared in 7 games for the Grizzlies this season, where he has scored 4 goals and 2 assists. Nantel was drafted in the 7th round, 204th overall in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche.

Downing has played in the American Hockey League since he joined the Iowa Wild for 5 games in the 2014-15 season. He has appeared in 13 games for the Eagles this season. His best year as a pro came in the 2015-16 season with the Iowa Wild, where he had 19 goals and 21 assists.

Boikov has played in 33 games this season for Colorado and has 6 assists. He appeared in 18 playoff games for the 2017 Kelly Cup Champion Colorado Eagles, where he had 3 goals and 7 assists. He also played in 7 regular season games for Colorado in the 2016-17 season, scoring 1 goal and 1 assist. Boikov was drafted in the 6th round, 161st overall of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft by the Colorado Avalanche.
