FOND DU LAC, WI-- The Fond du Lac Dock Spiders (13-12) and the Lakeshore Chinooks (13-12) went down to the final few innings in a 6-5 ball game.

River Carbone (Arizona Christian) got his second start and was dominant through five tonight. He would run into a hiccup in the sixth after giving up the lead on a bases clearing triple, which would score that run on an error and make it 4-2.

The Dock Spiders first two runs came in the second inning off of an error and a wild pitch. After the top of the sixth they trailed 4-2. An RBI single by Andy Lopez (Lenoir-Rhyne) would cut into the deficit and make it 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth.

Another Chinooks run would come across in the eighth and they would take a 5-3 lead into the bottom of the eighth. The Dock Spiders offense had some fight left in them.

Lopez again would drive in another run with two outs. It was up to Otto Grimm (Minnesota) with two outs and two men aboard, he would deliver a two-run double to take the lead 6-5.

Kyle Hall (Indiana Wesleyan) came in for the save and shut down the Chinooks to win the game.

The Dock Spiders face off against the Chinooks for the final time tomorrow night in Lakeshore for a 6:35 PM first pitch. It's their first of the three game road trip.
