
Griffins Announce Promotion

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday announced the promotion of Sam Iannamico to graphic designer.
Since being hired as an intern during the 2014-15 season, Iannamico has played an integral role in the success of the Griffins' digital media platforms. Grand Rapids has been the recipient of the AHL's Digital Media Award for two straight years and is ranked among the AHL leaders in fan engagement and social media reach.
Iannamico has assisted in community events as well as numerous social media campaigns including Instafreezes and Snap & Seek contests. In addition to his graphic designer responsibilities, Iannamico will continue to serve as the digital media photographer.
A native of Romeo, Mich., Iannamico earned a bachelor of fine arts from Kendall College of Art and Design in 2014.
