ALBANY, NY - The Albany Devils host the Utica Series for Game 1 of the Division Semifinal Friday at Times Union Center. Albany is making its second playoff appearance in the last three seasons and Utica returns to the postseason after reaching the Calder Cup Final a year ago. Approximately, 96 miles separate the two teams, who have shared real estate in the North Division standings for most of the regular season.

- The Devils finished second in division and in the conference at 46-20-8-2 (.671). The Comets were third in the division and seventh in the conference at 38-26-8-4 (.572).

- Albany went 27-7-3-1 at home during the regular season, while Utica was 10-15-3-0 on the road.

- The two clubs will play Game 2 on Saturday, April 23 at 5 pm at Times Union Center. The series shifts to the Utica Memorial Auditorium for Game 3 on Tuesday, April 26 at 7 pm. If necessary, Game 4 will be on Thursday, April 28 at 7 pm at the Auditorium and Game 5 will be on Saturday, April 30 at 5 pm at Times Union Center.
