CONDORSTOWN, Calif. - The Bakersfield Condors announced today that they have signed LW Scott Allen and LW Joey Benik to AHL contracts for the 2016-17 season.
ALLEN 6'3", 198 lbs., Edmonton, Alberta
Had 30 points (13g-17a) in 37 games with Norfolk (ECHL) as a rookie in 2015-16
Played four seasons at the University of Alaska-Anchorage and registered 75 points (40g-35a) in 129 games
Second-leading goal scorer on the Seawolves in 2013-14 with 17
BENIK 5'10", 175 lbs., Andover, Minn.
Joined the Condors on an Amateur Try-Out (ATO) at the end of last season and played four games with one assist
Led the St. Cloud State Huskies in goals with 21 in 2015-16 and was +29 in 38 games
Finished his tenure with SCSU with 57g-65a-122pts in 134 games
