Edmonton, Alberta â The Grey Cup 2002 Organizing Committee invites media to an availability on today, Friday, October 18th at 4:00 p.m. in the Green and Gold room at Commonwealth stadium.
Bill Gardiner, Chairman of the 2002 Grey Cup Organizing Committee, Dianne Greenough Co-Chairs of the halftime and pregame shows as well as Hugh Campbell, President and CEO of the Edmonton Eskimos will be available for comment. This availability will give media the opportunity to preview the plans for the halftime and pregame shows including entertainment booked. An update on ticket sales will be provided as well.
Having hosted Grey Cup in 1984 and 1997, this is the 3rd time that Edmonton has hosted this great Canadian tradition. November 24, 2002 also marks the 90th Anniversary of Grey Cup. Tickets are reasonably priced at $80.00, $140.00 and $165.00 and can be purchased at the Edmonton Eskimos Team Store at 9023 â 111 Avenue or by calling (780)448-ESKS (3757) or for those from out of town at 1-800-667-3757.
