Augusta, GA - Offense was the name of the game for the Augusta GreenJackets and the Greenville Drive, combining for 30 hits in a crazy 13-10 Drive win over the GreenJackets. Augusta was denied its sixth win in a row in their longest nine-inning game of the year.
The first inning set the pace for the whole game, lasting half an hour. Greenville scored twice on Ryan Lavarnway's double and a Michael Almanzar sacrifice fly. The GreenJackets roared back on Josh Mazzola's RBI double with one out in the inning after an error scored the first Augusta run. Johnny Monell traded places with Mazzola, doubling home two
