Greenville Drive News Release
Greenville, SC - The Greenville Drive ended the series against the Winston-Salem Dash with a 5-2 win. It took the Drive a little while, but they found a winning rhythm. Chih-Jung Lui tossed for 4 innings and allowed only four hits and two runs to secure the win.
Greenville was first to get on the board thanks to Ceddanne Rafela batting in Joe Davis in the third inning. The Drive offense would be successful the next two innings, while also keeping the Dash from seeing the dish.
The fourth inning saw an Alex Binelas homerun and in the fifth Matthew Lugo batted in Alex Erro.
The Dash finally answered in the sixth inning with two runs coming from Alsander Womack who batted in Moises Castillo and an Oscar Colas' RBI.
The Drive only up by one run, answered with two off the bat of Rafalea who also came home on a wild pitch in the seventh to finish the game off.
Greenville will be home this week starting on Tuesday taking on the Asheville Tourists.
