Green Bay Gamblers News Release
The Green Bay Gamblers (16-15-2-1) beat the Muskegon Lumberjacks (22-10-3-2) in overtime fashion 5-4 Saturday night at the Resch Center.
The first period was full of fireworks, including goals from Ryan Greene (11) and Jackson Hallum (20), leading to a 2-2 score heading into the second. The Gamblers scored early as Cameron Lund (13) converted the power play. However, a late score from Muskegon would make it another even period between the teams with a 3-3 contest heading into the final third of play. With just over two minutes off the clock, Ryan Greene (12) broke away and found himself one-on-one with the goalie and converting the chance, giving the Gamblers a 5-4 win.
