Greene and Robinson Lead Lookouts to Victory

Chattanooga Lookouts News Release
Hunter Greene's (W, 5-0) pitching and Chuckie Robinson's monster home run led the Lookouts to the 1-0 shutout win over the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.
Tonight's game featured a pitching duel between two top prospects and the matchup did not disappoint. Marlins prospect Max Meyer threw five shutout innings to lower his ERA to 1.59 on the year. Meyer was overshadowed by Greene who lit up the radar gun with fastballs over 100 miles per hour throughout the night. The hard-throwing righty only allowed two hits in six innings and struck out nine batters to increase his league-leading strikeout total to 60.
While Greene was dominant on the mound the Lookouts offense was stalling out against the Blue Wahoos pitching staff. This changed in the sixth inning when Chuckie Robinson belted a 406 foot home run dead center to make it 1-0.
Dauri Moreta relieved Greene and struck out five batters and Nick Howard (S, 3) struck out the side to earn his third save of the year.
Tomorrow, Nick Lodolo takes the mound for Chattanooga on Used Car Saturday presented by TVFCU. Game time is 7:15 p.m. with gates at 6:00 p.m.
