BATTLE CREEK, MI - The Green Bay Bullfrogs jumped out to an early 6-0 lead and held on to defeat the Battle Creek Bombers 11-8, salvaging the final game of the three game series.

Green Bay opened the scoring with one in the third and put up a big five spot in the fourth, as Bombers starter Cole Swanson struggled with his control. The lefty walked four in just four innings of work.

Battle Creek fought back all night long and cut the lead to 9-7 after seven innings, but could not get any closer. Connor Costello led the offensive attack with four hits, including a triple, RBI, and two runs scored. Colin Willis, Daniel Rockett, and Casey Yocum chipped in two hits apiece for Battle Creek.

The Bombers now hit the road for four games, beginning Monday night in Eau Claire. First pitch is 7:35 E.T. Dan Tyson will start for Battle Creek.
