
Grays Provide Offensive Fireworks In Front Of Sellout Crowd

In front of a sellout crowd at Skylands Park for Fireworks Night, the Skyhawks could not provide any offensive fireworks, scoring only 2 runs. The Grays however did supply the power on the night slugging 3 home runs. Skyhawks starter Vince Davis pitched well allowing only 2 runs over 7 innings but it was not enough for the Skyhawks. Richard Bartlett was stellar for the Grays allowing only 1 run over 7 innings. The game was close until the end when the Grays pounded the Skyhawk bullpen for 6 runs over 2 innings including, 2 home runs. The Skyhawks mounted a rally in the ninth, but it was not enough as they went on to lose the game 8-2.
