Art in the Ballpark

(NASHUA, NH, June 29, 2007) The Nashua Pride would like to announce, in collaboration with Meri Goyette and artist Ken Gidge, the first ever Nashua Pride's Art in the Ballpark.

Ken Gidge is an accomplished abstract artist looking to create the largest painting of its kind. Starting July 15th, an 8 by 50 foot blank canvas will adorn Historic Holman Stadium and Pride players, sponsors of the event, and Nashua celebrities will be the first to contribute to the artwork. Fans are invited to contribute to this historical event from July 16th-28th. Everyone who contributes is invited to take part in a photo shoot at 11 AM on July 28th.

The artwork will be unveiled at the Telegraph's 175th Celebration being celebrated at Historic Holman Stadium on July 28th. For more information on this event call 603-883-BALL (2255).

Nashua Pride's Art in the Ballpark is organized by Meri Goyette and sponsored by Nashua Paint and Wallpaper, CO.

The Nashua Pride Professional Baseball Club, entering its tenth anniversary season, provides a fun, affordable, community-based and fan-friendly source of sports entertainment. The Pride is participating in its second year of play in the Canadian American Association of Professional Baseball.
