(NASHUA, NH, June 29, 2007) First baseman Josue Lopez had four hits and four RBI Friday night to lead the North Shore Spirit to a 12-1 victory over the Nashua Pride (20-14) in front of 1,284 at Historic Holman Stadium. Lopez had two singles, two doubles and scored a pair of runs to pace North Shore's 16-hit attack.

North Shore catcher Alex Trezza homered, doubled and scored three runs as the Spirit moved to a game over the .500 mark at 17-16.

Spirit starter Chris Farley (6-1) worked five and two-thirds innings to post the win. He scattered eight hits, allowing one run, walking three and striking out three.

Japanese righthander Eiji Yano, making his first Nashua start, worked three innings, surrendering five hits and four runs.

Pride catcher Luis Rodriguez had three hits and the only Nashua RBI on the night. Shortstop Olmo Rosario had a pair of hits to extend his streak to 12 consecutive games.

The Pride and the Spirit meet Saturday night at 6:05 in Lynn, Massachusetts. 3-0 Hideki Nagasaka (RHP) will be on the mound for the Pride with Josue Matos (0-0) pitching for the Spirit and making his North Shore debut.
