Tulsa Oilers News Release
Tulsa Oilers' winger Dan Gravelle has been named the Sherwood CHL Player of the Month for February, the league announced today.
Gravelle, 33, scored 28 points (14G, 14A) in 14 games during the month, guiding Tulsa to a 9-3-2 record. The 6-0, 190-pound veteran from Montreal had five two-goal games for the month, and was a +11 during that time.
In addition, Gravelle had a shooting percentage of 25.5 percent for the month, and had a streak of four games from February 7th through 13th in which he scored 15 points (7G, 8A). Gravelle is the first Oiler to win the award since Todd Marcellus garnered the honor back in November 2002.
The Tulsa Oilers return home this weekend for games against the Austin Ice Bats on Friday and the Laredo Bucks on Saturday. Individual game tickets can be purchased at the Oilers ticket office, at Carson Attractions, in the Tulsa Convention Center, plus the Drug Mart locations in Tulsa, Owasso, and Broken Arrow.
