
Grasshoppers Are Playoff Bound

Greensboro Grasshoppers News Release
(GREENSBORO) The Greensboro Grasshoppers clinched a spot in the South Atlantic League Divisional Championship Series by beating the Kannapolis Intimidators today. The Hoppers took the lead early in the game, leading 5 to 1 after five innings. The Intimidators came back to make it interesting and sending the game into extra innings. The Hoppers rallied for 3 runs in the tenth and held on to become the Northern Division 2nd Half Champions!
The Greensboro Grasshoppers will host the first game of a three game series vs. the Hickory Crawdads. Game one of the playoff excitement will be on WEDNESDAY, September 7th at NewBridge Bank Park. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
Tickets will be available via web site sales, www.gsohoppers.com, beginning at 7:30 p.m. this evening. Phone sales and Box Office sales will begin TUESDAY morning at 9:00 a.m.
Ticket prices are $9.00 for premium seats, $8.00 for box seats, $7.00 for reserved seats and $6.00 for lawn tickets/grandstand bar tickets.
