Greenville, S.C. - Devlin Granberg tallied three doubles, a two-run homer, 10 total bases and three RBI while Tyler Esplin roped three singles with two RBI as Greenville won game four, 10-3 Friday night at Fluor Field.

On the night, the team combined for 14 hits and five extra-base hits. Seven of the nine Drive hitters registered a hit. Three compiled multi-hit efforts: Granberg four, Esplin, three, and Tyreque Reed, three. Reed also extended his RBI streak to eight-straight games. Christian Koss extended his hitting-streak to eight games as well. Kole Cottam drove in two on two sac flies.

Brian Van Belle started for Greenville (12-15) and got his first career win. He tossed 5.0 of one run ball on five hits, one home run and no walks. He fanned a season high six batters.

Asheville's starter, Danny Cody, lasted just 1.2 innings and took the loss after surrendering five runs on five hits and two walks.

For the first time this series, Greenville jumped out to an early lead in the first inning. With one out, Christian Koss reached on a dropped throw by the first baseman. Tyler Esplin followed with a single to right to put runners on first and second. The next batter, Reed, scalded a ball 108 MPH off the bat to right field for an RBI single, putting runners at first and third. Kole Cottam followed with a sac fly to give the Drive a 2-0 advantage.

The home team's lead was extended in the second inning. Devlin Granberg led off the frame with a double, advanced to third on a fly ball to right and then came around the score on a wild pitch. Then Alan Marrero walked, Cole Brannen lined a single to left and Cannon walked to load the bases. After a strikeout, Esplin roped his second hit of the night to left for a two-run single. The three-run inning pushed Greenville's lead to 5-0.

The Drive scored for the third-straight inning. Cottam led off the frame with a walk and was immediately driven in on Granberg's second double.

Asheville finally got on the score board in the fifth on an Alex McKenna solo clout to right. Greenville led, 6-1.

In the bottom half of the inning, the Drive scored three runs. Cottam was hit-by-pitch to begin the frame and came around to score a batter later on a Granberg two-run home run. Sogard followed with a single and then stole second base. Alan Marrero lined a double to the right-center field gap for an RBI, giving Greenville a commanding 9-1 lead.

The Tourists plated their second run in the seventh inning on an Enmanuel Valdez RBI single.

Greenville scored one more run in the bottom of the eighth on a Cottam sac fly, his second of the game.

Asheville scored a run in the ninth on an Alex McKenna sac fly.

Game five against the Tourists is set for Saturday at 7 pm at Fluor Field. The Drive are set to throw left-hander Chris Murphy while Asheville is scheduled to throw right-hander Jimmy Endersby.
