Ottawa 67's News Release

OTTAWA - Connor Graham scored the winning goal with 4:48 remaining as the Ottawa 67's won its third straight, downing the Belleville Bulls 3-2 on Friday night at TD Place.

Graham banged home a loose puck behind Bulls goalie Connor Hicks to complete yet another 67's comeback. They trailed 2-0 early in the second but rallied to complete a sweep of the home-and-home series against Belleville.

Travis Konecny began the Ottawa rally in the middle period on an outstanding effort from the left corner, weaving through traffic before getting free in front and sliding the puck behind Hicks to put the 67's on the board.

A few minutes later, Sam Studnicka was able to get free in front and converted a great set-up passes from Nevin Guy and Travis Barron to score during a power play to tie the score at 2-2.

The win moved Ottawa to within four points of third-place North Bay in the Ontario Hockey League East Division standings, and increased Ottawa's lead to seven points ahead of fifth-place Niagara.

The start of the game was delayed by one hour after a pipe burst near the arena ceiling, causing a leak onto the ice. Maintenance crews made repairs and OHL officials determined that ice conditions were safe and suitable for the game to be played.

The next 67's game is Sunday at 3 p.m. at TD Place against Kingston, the first of a home-and-home against the Frontenacs.
