
Gorillas Hosting two "Home Away From Home" Parties

Amarillo, TX 2/25/09 - For fans that cannot travel to road Amarillo Gorillas games this week, the team has the perfect solution.
On Wednesday night, the Gorillas will be hosting a "Home Away From Home" party at the Country Barn (west I-40 and Soncy in Amarillo). Every minute of the Gorillas-Scorpions game will be aired on a big-screen television at the restaurant, as fans will be invited to cheer on Amarillo in a game-style atmosphere. The festivities will start at 7:30 PM, with the game face-off at 8:15 PM.
Saturday, the team will once again host a "Home Away From Home" party, as they take on the Odessa Jackalopes at the Ector County Coliseum. The get-together Saturday will be hosted at The Dugout, just east of Western on Olsen Blvd. in Amarillo. Amarillo's game against their division rival will be carried on the giant projection-screen monitor at The Dugout, with the goings-on beginning at 6:30 PM and the game facing off at 7:05 PM.
