The Bucks enter play Thursday sitting in the third spot in the Southern Conference playoff race, as they sit a season-high 15 points back of Texas in the Southeast Division.

All-Star Rookie Darryl Smith had three goals last weekend, to move him into a first-place tie in the CHL with 31. Smith's 31 markers are tied for the league-lead with Odessa's Sebastien Thinel, and Colorado's Ryan Tobler. Smith also leads all CHL rookies in scoring with 58 points (31-27=58).

Brent Cullaton, who sits eighth in the CHL in scoring, leads the Bucks with 64 points (17-47=64).

The Bucks and Sundogs meet for the fourth time this season Thursday night, with Laredo winning the previous three encounters by a combined 15-9 score.

The Sundogs enter Thursday's game sitting one point behind Corpus Christi for the final playoff spot in the Southern Conference. Arizona will travel to Corpus for a showdown Friday night.

The Sundogs have lost six of their last seven games, including dropping their last three contests.

Joel Irving leads Arizona in scoring with 59 points (30-29=59).

Laredo heads to Rio Grande Valley Friday night in a big Divisional match-up.
