
Gorillas awards banquet set for March 15

AMARILLO, TX â The Amarillo Gorillas will be holding their 2003-2004 Awards Banquet on Monday, Mar. 15, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Regency room of the Amarillo Civic Center.
There will be a reception at 6:30 pm, while the meal and formal awards presentations start at 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 for season ticket holders and $10 for non season ticket holders. There will be a silent auction as well for one of the Gorillas game worn jerseys.
Awards will be handed out to the best Most Valuable Player, Community Service Award, Fan Favorite, Rick Husband Memorial Award, Rookie of the Year, and Most Improved Player.
Tickets will be on sale beginning Sunday at the Gorillas next home game against the Indianapolis Ice at 4 p.m. at the Gorillas information booth.
