SOUTHAVEN, Miss – The two-time defending CHL champion Memphis RiverKings, coming off a huge come-from-behind win at Bossier-Shreveport on Tuesday night, prepare for three games in the next four days as the playoff race heats up.

The RiverKings, who currently are tied with Indianapolis for first place in the wild card race, will host the Austin Ice Bats on Thursday night at the DeSoto Civic Center at 7:05 pm. The RiverKings will also play host to the league-leading Laredo Bucks on Friday night at 7:05 pm. Memphis will then finish off the week with their final road game of the regular season, as they travel one more time to Bossier City to take on the division-leading Mudbugs.

Last night's contest saw the RiverKings fall behind early 3-1, thanks to a hat trick by Mudbugs forward Chris Brassard. But two goals by left wing Jonathan Gagnon, a marker by forward Steven Margeson, and a game-winning effort by center Alexandre Mathieu helped the ‘Kings to an improbable 4-3 victory, their second of the season at the CenturyTel Center.

The RiverKings are currently tied with Indianapolis with 69 points, three better than the Wichita Thunder. If the playoffs started today, both Memphis and Indianapolis would receive wild card berths, along with division champions Colorado and Bossier-Shreveport.

The ‘Kings will be live on the air tonight at Hunter Brown's Restaurant and Sports Cafe for another episode of "RiverKings Weekly". Airing on SportsPlus 790 WMC, host Dave Woloshin leads an hour of discussion on the 2003-04 RiverKings. Coach Mark Richards, selected players and play-by-play broadcaster Galen Clavio will appear, as will CHL Director of Communications Steve Cherwonak.

All 64 RiverKings games can be heard on Easy 680 AM, as well as worldwide via SportsJuice.com. RiverKings games can also be heard inside the DeSoto Civic Center on FM frequency 107.9 FM. Select RiverKings games will also be available through CHL TV, a league-wide video streaming enterprise. CHL TV is available at www.CHLTV.com.
