Bucks Clinch Governors\' Cup, 2004 CHL Regular Season Champs

LAREDO, Texas – The Laredo Bucks have clinched the Governors' Cup signifying the 2004 CHL regular season championship. Laredo needed either a Bossier-Shreveport loss last night, or a win tonight to capture the award. The Mudbugs lost 4-3 to Memphis last night and the Bucks are guaranteed to have the most points in the regular season. Laredo hosts Lubbock at 7:30 p.m. tonight at the LEC. CHL President Brad Treliving will be present at the Laredo Entertainment Center on March 13th to present the Governors' Cup.

The second year franchise has posted a team record 45 wins. The Bucks are 45-7-5 with 95 points.
