HERSHEY made it two wins out of three in the first three games in three nights of the season, rallying from two goals down to defeat the Adirondack Phantoms 4-2 at Giant Center Sunday.

Adirondack opened the scoring just 4:43 in the first period when Patrick Maroon tipped an Erik Gustafsson shot from the top of the right circle, giving the Phantoms a 1-0 lead. The lead was extended to 2-0 at the 9:14 mark of the first when Jonathan Kalinski was able to redirect a Mike Testwuide shot in close against Braden Holtby. Down 2-0, the BEARS started the road back by way of the power play, as Andrew Gordon picked up his fifth goal of the season. Gordon closed in on the left post against Adirondack rookie goalie Brian Stewart and slid the puck underneath, with assists to Keith Aucoin and Lawrence Nycholat at 11:26. With Adirondack firing 11 shots to HERSHEY'S nine in the first period, the Phantoms took a 2-1 lead to the dressing room.

The only goal of the second period was a powerful drive by Andrew Joudrey off the iron to tie the game at 2-2. Joudrey rifled a shot from the slot area past Stewart at the 18:56 mark of the period. With the score tied into the third period, Gordon picked up his second power play goal of the game and his sixth goal of the season from Keith Aucoin at 13:49 to get what proved to be the game winner. Ashton Rome added some insurance with his third goal in two nights at 17:20, and the BEARS posted a 4-2 win. Holtby won his fourth straight game in goal, making 27 saves.
