ST. PAUL, MN - The Force is Strong with our Neighbors and the baseball royalty we choose to celebrate in Toni Stone and Larry Doby. While no one would consider Charlie Brown a baseball Hall of Famer, he's an icon to the young and young at heart. So, hop on your Hogs and head down to CHS Field for a six-game homestand from June 8-13.

Friday, June 8 7:05 p.m. vs. Sioux Falls Canaries - Star Wars Night presented by Pizza Ranch

Do. Or Do Not. There is no try. The Saints will definitely Do because they believe You Can't Stop The Change, Any More Than You Can Stop The Suns From Setting. Hop in your podracer and head to CHS Field for Star Wars Night presented by Pizza Ranch. The music, the characters, the food and drinks, a Saints game is like sitting in Chalmun's Cantina. If you were fortunate to purchase the special ticket package, join us during the game for lightsaber training. It's only appropriate that the Xcel Energy Fireworks show is set to the music of John Williams.

Saturday, June 9 7:05 p.m. vs. Sioux Falls Canaries - 115th Anniversary of Harley- Davidson presented by St. Paul & Wild Prairie Harley Davidson

Rev up the engine, throw on your leather jacket and jump on your Hog because we're celebrating the most iconic bike in America. It's the 115th Anniversary of Harley-Davidson presented by St. Paul & Wild Prairie Harley-Davidson. The power of the Harley is something everyone should experience, but the first of their motorcycles reached a top speed of 25 mph and used a tomato can for a carburetor. OK, this may be more a part of Harley lore, but we do know the nickname of Hog came from Harley racing team member Ray Weishaar owning a piglet. After winning competitions, team members would take a victory lap with their porcine mascot. Wonder if there is another iconic team with a pig as a mascot? The first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Harley-Davidson can koozie. In celebration of their 115th Anniversary, Harley-Davidson will throw out 115 t-shirts into the crowd during the fifth inning. Throw the shades on and put on your favorite Hawaiian shirt on Treasure Island Saturday.

Sunday, June 10 5:05 p.m. vs. Sioux Falls Canaries - Women in Baseball presented by Room & Board featuring a Toni Stone Bobblehead

The St. Paul Saints have a long tradition of pushing the envelope, both on and off the field, including the signing of Ila Borders in 1997. While Borders was the first woman to play in the Northern League, the history of women baseball players in Saint Paul dates much further back. One of the most iconic female professional baseball players ever, Toni Stone, started the revolution and the Saints will honor her on Women in Baseball Night presented by Room & Board. Born in Saint Paul on July 17, 1921 Stone made history in 1953 when she was signed to play second base for the Indianapolis Clowns of the Negro Leagues, making her the first woman to play professionally in a men's league. The day will kick off at CHS Field with the Minnesota Girls Baseball Association, in partnership with Girls Scouts River Valleys, hosting a pre-game clinic for girls from 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Cost to participate in the clinic is $10 with all proceeds benefiting Girls Baseball in MN and the Girl Scouts. Prior to the Saints game that evening the Saints will honor Stone with a special on field ceremony. Maria Bartlow, Stone's niece, will be in attendance at the game and take part in the pre-game ceremonies. The first 1,500 fans in attendance will receive a Toni Stone bobblehead. Also, Warner Bros. Pictures upcoming comedy TAG will be on-site with a photo opp and giveaways in the center field standing room only area, as well as hosting the largest game of freeze tag, which will take place on the field after the game. The first 100 people to participate will receive a rally towel! TAG is based on a true story (we're not kidding). Catch it in theaters June 15th! Following the game kids run the bases and get team autographs on Cub Family Sunday.

Monday, June 11 7:05 p.m. vs. Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks - Larry Doby Night

We go from celebrating one pioneer to the next as the Saints celebrate the first African American to break the color barrier in the American League on Larry Doby Night. Our owner Mike Veeck's father, Bill, was the man that signed Doby to his first contract with the Cleveland Indians. Just three months after Jackie Robinson broke baseball's color barrier, Doby became the first player to go directly from the Negro Leagues to the Major Leagues. Doby would later serve as the second African American manager in the Majors. He was selected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1998. The Saints and RedHawks will wear special Negro League uniforms with the Saints donning the garb of the Newark Eagles, the 1946 Negro League championship team that featured Doby, while the RedHawks will wear the uniforms of the Homestead Grays. We'll honor, and poke fun at, the great state we reside in, on Metropolitan State Minnesota Monday.

Tuesday, June 12 7:05 p.m. vs, Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks - Charlie Brown T-Shirt Giveaway presented by Valleyfair

The genius behind the comic strip Peanuts, Charles Schulz, grew up in the Highland neighborhood of Saint Paul. His influence is seen all over the city, including at CHS Field with the Peanuts characters lined along the 4th Street entrance. On this night the first 2,000 fans in attendance will receive a Charlie Brown T-Shirt presented by Valleyfair. Growing up, Schulz and his buddies would play baseball in a vacant lot in Saint Paul, playing until they knocked the cover off the ball, then wrapped it in black electrician tape and played some more. Of course, Schulz took his love for baseball into his comic strips where Charlie Brown would often be the losing pitcher in so many games. The Saints will don special Charlie Brown uniforms, the yellow shirt with the black zig zag along the bottom, and auction them off during the game. We'll take you back to a different era, with Take Me Back Tuesday presented by Valleyfair.

Wednesday, June 13 1:05 p.m. vs. Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks - Celebrate 50 Years of Mr. Rogers presented by Talecris Plasma

Put on your cardigan zipper sweater, take off the dress shoes and join us in a Neighborhood of Make Believe. He was an icon to so many children and we celebrate the man that brought us Daniel Striped Tiger, Prince Tuesday, and Ana Platypus with the Celebration of 50 Year of Mr. Rogers presented by Talecris Plasma. Jump in the trolley because It's Such a Good Feeling to enjoy a day at CHS Field. Of course, the craziest tailgate party around, with Walser Wednesday, will also give you a good feeling.

After 10-days on the road we're anxious to throw a week-long party. It's a Beautiful Day in our Neighborhood and we won't let you turn to the Dark Side. We honor those that paved the way for so many others, but even if you are a blockhead our gates are always open. Put on your boots and leather jacket and ride towards the fun because this homestand has it all.

Saints tickets continue to be a tremendous value. Tickets begin at $5 for the Treasure Island berm seating (available only on day of game in person at the box office), $6 for SPLASH Zone bleacher seats, $14 for outfield reserved, $16 for the drink rail and $18 for infield reserved and home plate reserved. Friday Home Games with Post-Game Fireworks are an additional $2 per ticket. Post-Game Fireworks Supershows (July 2 and September 2) are an additional $3 per ticket. Tickets purchased on the day of the game are an additional $2 per ticket. Children under the age of 12 and seniors 65 and older receive $1 off the admission price. Children under 2 that don't require a seat are free.

The Saints Box Office hours on non-game days are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. On game days, the Box Office will open at 9 a.m., Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. Saturday and 12:00 p.m. on Sunday and will remain open until 15 minutes following each game. Tickets are always available at saintsbaseball.com.
