
Goldeyes Release Aguilar Ahead of Roster Deadline

Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that left-handed pitcher Gabe Aguilar has been released.
American Association teams were required to reduce their rosters to 22 players at 12 p.m. today, which the Goldeyes did with this move. The Goldeyes have 11 pitchers and 11 position players on their roster.
Winnipeg concludes its 10-game season-opening road trip tonight in Joplin against the Blasters at Joe Becker Stadium. Game time is 5:00 p.m. The pre-game show on Jewel 100.5 FM begins at 4:30 p.m.
The Goldeyes are back home at Shaw Park on Tuesday night for their home opener against the Sioux Falls Canaries.
