
Goldeyes Make First Move of Camp

Winnipeg Goldeyes manager Rick Forney announced today that rookie catcher Matt Albaugh has been traded to the Florence Freedom of the Frontier League for future considerations.
Albaugh, 23, was signed this past offseason out of Kutztown University.
The Goldeyes now have 25 players on their training camp roster, including 14 pitchers and 11 position players.
The team will travel to Lincoln, as the Goldeyes take on the Saltdogs tomorrow night and Saturday afternoon at Haymarket Park in exhibition action. Winnipeg will then face the Kansas City T-Bones on Monday and Tuesday in Kansas before opening the 2014 American Association regular season on May 15 against the Amarillo Sox in Texas.
