Golden State Warriors Recall Guard Jacob Evans III from Santa Cruz

SANTA CRUZ, CA -The back-to-back NBA Champion Golden State Warriors announced today that guard Jacob Evans III has been recalled from the Santa Cruz Warriors, the team's NBA G League affiliate.
The Santa Cruz Warriors concluded their 2018-19 season with a 144-125 defeat to the Rio Grande Valley Vipers in the Western Conference Finals on April 2. Evans III logged 13 points on 3-of-4 shooting from behind the arc in 24 minutes of action.
Evans III (6'6, 210) started two games for the Santa Cruz Warriors in the 2019 NBA G League Playoffs, averaging 14.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 1.00 steals in 27.3 minutes. The first-year guard from the University of Cincinnati appeared in 21 games (16 starts) with the Santa Cruz Warriors in the regular season, averaging 11.3 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 26.1 minutes.
The 28th overall selection in the 2018 NBA Draft, Evans III has appeared in 27 games with Golden State this season, averaging 0.8 points, 0.6 rebounds and 0.6 assists in 5.0 minutes per game.
