
Goaltender Reynaert Signed to Professional Try-Out

Peoria, IL (March 23, 2007) - Peoria Rivermen General Manager of Hockey Operations Kevin McDonald announced today that fifth-year goaltender Jeff Reynaert has been signed to a professional try-out agreement.
Reynaert (REIGN-uhrt), 27, has posted a 12-25-4 record, a 3.85 goals against average (GAA) and a .894 save percentage this season with the United Hockey League's (UHL) Bloomington Prairie Thunder. The 6-foot, 170-pound native of Sterling Heights, Mich., posted career-best marks in 2003-04 with the UHL Quad City Mallards, registering a 37-13-6 record with a 2.61 GAA and a .917 save percentage. His career record entering this season was 91-48-18 with a 2.68 GAA and a .912 save percentage.
On Friday, March 23, the Rivermen host the Milwaukee Admirals at 7:30 p.m. at Carver Arena. It's Circle K Team Photo Night for the first 5,000 fans, and U.S. Cellular's 25 Greatest Rivermen of All-Time continues with Dave Thomlinson cards for the first 2,500 fans. Thomlinson and Jim Vesey, another of the 25 Greatest Rivermen of All-Time, will appear and sign autographs. It's also a Coca-Cola/Insight Date Night with two (2) tickets, two (2) Cokes and a tub of popcorn for just $25. On Saturday, March 24, Peoria welcomes the rival Chicago Wolves to Carver Arena at 7:00 p.m. Jars of Clay headlines a post-game Christian concert with NEEDTOBREATHE and Burlap to Cashmere. It's Maui Jim Sunglasses Night with 25 random winners. U.S. Cellular's 25 Greatest Rivermen of All-Time continues with a special appearance and autograph signing by Rick Pion. And Kaufman Wellness Center is offering free spinal checks and back massages with a donation to the Children's Hospital of Illinois.
